Good Question!
As I am currently "retired" and do not yet own a caravan, I have some time to kill. I am really keen to do something that I have always wanted to do.... Write about myself.
That's right, I have thought about myself a lot and have decided that this thought process should become more formal. I have many ideas of what I want up here and hopefully over time I can make it happen.
Until then, it maybe a jumbling mess of a blog.
STORIES
To give you an idea of what I want to do, read my FIRST PORT. I don't really want to write about my life, because I doubt it is that interesting. But, there are a few random fictional stories I want to get up.
CRAPPY MOVIE REVIEWS
After an appalling weekend of watching bad movies with a few friends I discovered a love for bad movies. Not just little bad films, like anything by Adam Sandler or Eddie Murphy, I mean REALLY bad, like Battlefield Earth or Glitter. There is a world of pain out there. So, as a service to anyone game enough to read.
Ratings are out of 5 steaming wet turds. Basically as a guide:
1 out of 5 steaming wet turds - Hey, this is that bad. I would watch that again. eg: Under Siege Two
2 out of 5 steaming wet turds - Ha! This is bad, but I would watch it for hilarity. eg: Top Gun
3 out of 5 steaming wet turds - This is bad. It makes me feel angry. eg: X Men 3
4 out of 5 steaming wet turds - Wow, how did anyone allow this to be made! eg: Dune
5 out of 5 steaming wet turds - Oh, this is rancid, I would rather tear my eyes out that watch that again. eg: Batman and Robin
MEMES
The other thing is some writing of a different 'viiibbee'. Means I can put some memes with the idea of publishing them elsewhere. To give them some legitimacy of copyright and what not, so I'll put them on here.
For those who do not know what a meme is, use the google or wiki. I'm sure that you have all seen them, but there is a name for them. There are hundreds of site with them, but my favourites are 9gag and AFL memes. If I have any funny ones, I'll try to put them up there.
AFL PREVIEWS
I have written a few previews in my time. I kinda want to do it again. Similar to the memes. I want to give them some legitimacy. I don't know how regular I'll do them unless I can sell them.
FORMAT
Forgive the format. It's simple but useful. I have been told my close internet forums that dont worry about format until you start writing properly. So, I'll fix it up once I get this going and learn how to use CSS programming. Any suggestions or help would be great.
SUBSCRIBING
There is a way of subscribing. There is a Follow By Email bit down the bottom. Put your email in there and see what happens... I don't know how it works. I will publish on facebook, so if we are friends you will be harassed and wont need an email.
